Midsummer

Now Japan is hot, humid.
It's too hot to come up with what to prepare. :(

Today's are easy.

Boiled corns
Tofu with ginger, Japanese basil, soysource
Roasted Japanese eggplants (with same herbs of tofu )
Rice

  1. Delicious! We are enjoying some time with G's family and there is lots of sweet corn here. We were just with my parents, and my mom is growing shiso on her balcony! It's fun to eat with both sides of our family.

    oh I can't stop thinking about how wonderful fresh corns at Iowa...and I'm also growing shiso. really nice with noodles, aren't they? hope your family are all well. :)
